Vehicle Details
Good solid project truck. Truck is complete and I drove it quite often from 2013 to 2017. My son used it as daily school driver starting in 2015...turns out the river road was the after school place for some race and off-road, when this eventually happen once when low on oil and motor locked up...truck does not run. Motor did start after trailered home but bearing and cam squalling was bad, very bad. Need swapped or rebuild.
Previous owner had the truck since early 80's and confirmed the odometer rollover before I purchased. The cab, frame, driveline and transmission are all original as titled. The truck was a 300 6cylinder. Previous owner had a mild front hit to a tree about 1991. The 351w, radiator, front clip, doors and bed are all from a tan and blue 79 truck.
The truck now has been sitting. The current tires are shot, but 3 hold air and the 4th I keep blocked up. These are 37" tsl swampers on 16.5 rims. I have another set of stock 16" wheel with the old bias ply coop tires.
Rust over the rear fenders and cab corners have rust. The underside is good and this would make a solid restoration or minor refurbish.
