Rusty, amateur body repair.2003 Ford Econoline Van · Minivan · Driven 224,000 milesNew tires, new alternator, new blower motor, new windshield & wipers, new ignition switch, brakes done <3k miles ago, new tie rods and suspension, battery and spark plugs 1year old. Oil changes religiously at 3k according to last owner. It was purchased from business and miles are mainly highway miles. The cabinet behind the driver seat has a Coleman refrigerator that plugs into cigarette lighter, and is about a year old.Factory insulated and covered walls and ceiling, has cheap linoleum floor and queen bed frame. Mattress not included. Van has been so good for camping in but is too big and hard for me to maneuver campgrounds, mainly used for weekend trips. I recently took it from Michigan to Billings Montana, then south through Utah into New Mexico, then across Texas to New Orleans and back up to Michigan. The only issues I had were the blower motor went out (which recently got replaced) and the fuel tank straps broke, and those were also replaced. The side door behind the passenger doesn’t open from the outside, but I have the cable to fix it. The only other minor issue I can think of is the volume knob on radio doesn’t always react how it should, but if you turn it very slowly it should cooperate.
Starts every time and runs great, I just need to downsize.
