Construction on the Four Queens began on November 16, 1964 and it opened on June 2, 1966. The casino is named after the builder Ben Goffstein's four daughters, Faith, Hope, Benita, and Michele. It originally had only 120 rooms and a 20,000 square foot casino but now has 690 rooms with a 50,000 square foot casino. Today the casino occupies the entire block bordered by Fremont Street, Casino Center, Third Street and Carson Avenue. The Four Queens was also a partner in renovating the downtown area and creating the Fremont Street Experience. Both 20 strike matchbooks were manufactured by the Superior Match Company in Chicago, Illinois. U.S.A.
All matchbooks are sealed in plastic wrap and shipped in a protective cardboard sleeve to prevent any damage to the product. I do combined shipping and "get it there fast" shipping. Please email me for the details. I try to charge only the actual cost of shipping and never a handling charge. Thank you.
