    Description

    Original U.S. M1873 Springfield 45-70 rifle socket bayonet & scabbard. Excellent overall condition.  Clean, no rusting but does have a few points of depression/pitting as you can see by the pictures.  Unmarked.  The scabbard is solid except for the one area near the "U.S."  Supple, not stiff, but could use a coat of cleaner conditioner.   .  Please judge condition by the pictures and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
